The Beatles Producer

I took music production lessons from Eddie Kramer about 20 years ago in LA. He produced the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Jimmi Hendrix as well as many other artists, and also is a photographer of those bands. Hear my “Bam Bam Club” songs I produced at Clubevan.com. He told me that he had to be the “straight guy” when they (the Beatles) would get out of hand - stoned- joking around too much instead of focusing on the recording session. He also taught me that if you get a good take on a song....if there is a little noise in the background that is okay. He said on several Beatles recordings there was a crash or something in the background because they were so sloppy but he kept rolling. We (music producers) are so concerned about the slightest bit of noise that we throw away a perfect take. No one even notices a bird chirping a mile away. He has amazing photos he took of bands he worked with like Jimmi Hendrix at the links below. He told me to always have a Coca-Cola in my hand or another commercial item in the important photograph- if ever in trouble product placement will save you. Bill Clinton during his Monica trial questioning by Ken Star was drinking a Diet Coke. I bet they loved that. I am actually addicted to Diet Coke and have many photos of me either drinking soda or at McDonalds - on purpose. They may have saved me. My grandfather invested in Coca-Cola in WWI and WWII. My other grandfather prescribed it when it was medicine and later had a soda jerk in his pharmacy diner. He was a millionaire after the war because of those bonds. God bless them! Coca-Cola Corporation is one of my guardian angels looking after me to this day. I took lessons with Kramer during the Iraq war and asked him to make a peace sign in this photo with me. He was very conservative and supported the war. Reluctantly, he obliged.
