My Open Letter to President Trump: If you're truly "pissed" at Putin and considering heavy sanctions--don't hesitate. Do it. Crush Putin, and your popularity will skyrocket. Forget Iran. Forget Putin. You know you want to. Russia and Iran are allies - the new axis of evil, and now is the time to bring hellfire down on them. This could be your "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall" moment. Imagine the legacy--Putin overthrown, a turning point in history with your name on it. I once spoke to Republican New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu (photo below--don’t mind my cross-eyed look). Yes, I like some Republicans--Sununu, for instance, is sharp and always great on Real Time with Bill Maher. When I asked him about Putin, his response was simple: "We need to step on his throat." Both Democrats and Republicans agree--Russia must be stopped before it escalates into World War III. I want peace too, but as Reagan said, "Peace through strength." Now...
At 43, Pete Buttigieg has hinted at retirement but left the door open for a potential return—perhaps even a presidential run. Imagine that: a non-billionaire under 80 in the race. What a refreshing concept. Buttigieg champions abolished the Electoral College, restored voting rights for felons who’ve served their time, and prioritized election security. As a proud member of the LGBTQ community, he represents a historic milestone—no openly gay man has come this far in American politics. No draft dodger - he was an intelligence officer and lieutenant in the Navy - served our country proudly... so I ask: why not? I’ve been...
I had plans to marry my first and only real girlfriend ever, Stepheny. We loved each other and doors opened for us everywhere. At the time my dream was to be Governor of Idaho so I could protect the beautiful national parks there and wildlife ecosystem. I knew together we could do anything...but it was very tragic...like Romeo and Juliet how it ended - forces drove us apart. I can't really talk about all the details for obvious reasons - maybe someday for a memoir. My dad often told me how sad the whole situation was. But, this song below by another Welsh man like me (Howard Jones) sums it up for me and reminds me of Stepheny. Phil Collins produced it and is on drums. This song seems to be a bunch of metaphors portraying a mutual attraction/love that can’t be fulfilled and/or is forbidden. It means different things to different people said Howard Jones. You can listen to my interview with him on www.clubevan.com : ClubEvan.com: in the "Radio" section: The Howa...
