Open Letter to President Trump about Russia and Iran

 My Open Letter to President Trump:

Mr. President,

If recent reports are true—that you are angered by Putin’s actions and considering severe sanctions—then I urge you: Act decisively. Holding Russia accountable will not only weaken Putin’s regime but could also solidify your standing with the American people.

Russia and Iran represent a dangerous alliance—one that threatens global stability. This is your opportunity to take a historic stand, much like President Reagan’s iconic challenge to Gorbachev. Imagine the legacy: a decisive blow against Putin’s aggression, a turning point in history with your leadership at the center.

During a conversation with New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu (a Republican I respect for his sharp insight, as seen on Real Time with Bill Maher), I asked his view on Putin. His response was blunt and telling: “We need to step on his throat.”

This isn’t a partisan issue. Both Democrats and Republicans recognize the urgency of confronting Russia before the situation escalates further. Like Reagan, I believe in “peace through strength.” Now is the time to rally our military, strengthen alliances, and put an end to Putin’s destabilizing actions.

Taking bold action here wouldn’t just earn you praise from your base—it would win you respect across the political spectrum. Do what’s necessary for national security, and history will remember it.

I am in recovery from everything
